Preventive Services
After the initial assessment is completed and options are discussed, a treatment plan specific to your individual needs that may include teeth cleaning, application of fluoride and homecare instructions. Appointments can be made by emailing:

Oral Cancer Screening
Oral cancer can often be treated successfully if caught at an early stage. If not treated early, the cancer can spread to other parts of the body. At this point, it becomes more difficult to treat.
Understanding your risk for oral cancer is an important part of prevention. Have a regular oral cancer screening done by an oral health professional to catch oral cancer early.

GFTH is proud to welcome Jimmy McLean as our Community Engagement Liaison, and we couldn't be more excited about his arrival. Jimmy McLean is a Toronto transplant who left his corporate life behind to help his friend build a business and create a new life for himself in the Bay of Quinte.
What sets Jimmy apart is his unique energy and dynamism, which has allowed him to build robust relationships in the BOQ. As the In-Game Host for the Belleville Senators and a recognizable face in the community, Jimmy's background as Jimmy from Flossie's Sandwich Parlor in Prince Edward County has helped him become a well-respected member of the community.
At GFTH, Jimmy brings his professional and life experience, along with his personal journey, to make dental care accessible and affordable for everyone. We are thrilled to have him on board and look forward to seeing the positive impact he will make on our community.

The Gift from the Heart Outreach Mobile Community Centre is on the road to better overall health. Our new trailer style treatment centre in located in Belleville, Ontario at Loyalist College. This state of the art centre will provide emergency dental care and preventative services.
